When Evan Lysacek starts his quest for the Mirrorball Trophy on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, he will be dancing alongside Anna Trebunskaya. The 10th season of the show premiers on March 22 with Lysacek competing against the likes of actress Pamela Anderson and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco.
In Season Two of DWTS, Trebunskaya paired with football great Jerry Rice to make the finals, and ultimately a second place finish. In Season Five, she paired with model Albert Reed and in Season 6 she danced with actor/funnyman Steve Guttenberg. She also danced with American mixed martial artist Chuck Liddell.
A native of Russia, Trebunskaya has been dancing ever since she was six years old. In 1998, at the age of 17, she moved to the United States with her parents, who were professional ballroom dancers. Her mother still makes her costumes today.
Although Trebunskaya has never won the Mirrorball Trophy, she has received international acclaim for her work. She has won various titles including 2003 Blackpool Rising Star Latin Finalist and 2004 USA Rising Star Latin Champion.
Trebunskaya is married to fellow DWTS pro Jonathan Roberts.
