Ballroom dancer Katrina Burch sat down with Figure Skaters Online to evaluate Olympic Champion Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya’s Paso Doble and foxtrot, which the couple performed on last night’s Dancing with the Stars. Team Evanna performed last among the couples, tying for first place.
Evan was on fire tonight. He should have received a perfect score for that foxtrot! I love that song and his movements were excellent. Great rise and fall, good character and very happy and out of his shell! I wasn’t a fan of the song for his Paso but it worked. It was a little fast but the aggression was there, the character was there, and the technique was flawless.
Best dance: Evan’s Paso
Worst: Chad (both of them)
